When I first moved to New York after art school in 1977 I was often asked who my favorite artists were. I said, “June Leaf and Lee Lozano.” I often heard “Lee Lozano is living on the street” in response. The collectors Milton Brutten and Helen Herrick in Philadelphia had a lot of her drawings.
