Kayaalp, Fethi
A Man, n.d.
Specializing in printmaking from early on, Kayaalp produced for the most part engravings and woodcuts in both abstract and figurative styles. Here he depicts a figure using simple biomorphic shapes and enlivening the surface with pointillistic dots.

In 1962, he began working as a restorer at the Istanbul Museum of Painting and Sculpture. Four years later he was appointed to the faculty of the Painting Department of the academy, where he worked in the engraving studio. He retired in 1981.
