Notes:

A few location descriptors are seen throughout this list: Back Gallery, Small Gallery, Lower Level Gallery, and Windows. The terms Back Gallery, Small Gallery, and Lower Level Gallery describe different zones of the museum that have existed throughout various renovations made to the building that houses the Grey. At the time of this page’s publication (May 2020), the Grey Art Gallery’s exhibition space comprises the main gallery on the ground floor and the Lower Level Gallery on the basement level. The term Windows refers to an exhibition space that existed in the windows on 100 Washington Square East between Washington Place and Waverly Place; the practice of installing art in these windows was discontinued in 1997.
