Speed-Dating the Avant-Garde: 15 Festivals in 45 Minutes

In conjunction with the exhibition A Feast of Astonishments:
Charlotte Moorman and the Avant-Garde, 1960s–1980s

In this slide lecture, Barbara Moore — independent scholar, a close associate of Moorman’s, and director of the Peter Moore archive — mines the archive for never-before-seen and rarely-seen photographs chronicling the avant-garde festivals Moorman organized between 1963 and 1980.
