Exhibition: Where is Ana Mendieta? 25 Years Later

In conjunction with the exhibition Kunstlerplakate: Artists’ Posters from East Germany

Exploring the life’s work and legacy of Cuban American artist Ana Mendieta (1948–1985), this show also includes documents from the A.I.R. Gallery Archives, Fales Library, NYU, and BloodWork, a film by Richard Move.

Organized by the Fales Library, NYU, and co-sponsored by NYU’s Center for Latin American and Caribbean Studies (CLACS), Center for the Study of Gender and Sexuality (CSGS), Department of English, Grey Art Gallery, Hemispheric Institute, and Women & Performance.
