Shifting Tides curator Tim B. Wride and photographer José Alberto Figueroa, along with Cuban poet Pablo Armando Fernández, will join other Cuban photographers and friends in the U.S. to talk about Korda (Alberto Díaz Gutiérrez), who died recently at age 72 and is best known for his world-famous photograph of Che Guevara. The program will include short films about Korda, among them a documentary made in Cuba about his photograph of Che, Una imagen recorre el mundo.
