WATCH: Virtual Tour of “Mostly New: Selections from the NYU Art Collection”

Former Graduate Curatorial Assistant (2021–2022) and NYU Ph.D. candidate Samuel Allen gives a virtual tour of Mostly New: Selections from the NYU Art Collection. Featuring more than 90 artworks by nearly 60 artists, this exhibition foregrounds the collection’s strengths in recording the history of New York City’s artistic scene, in showcasing contemporary art from the Middle East and Asia, and in presenting a breadth of creative and documentary photographic practices.
