As part of the global art community, we are sharing a statement signed by hundreds of Iranian artists, academics, and writers who have voiced solidarity with the Iranian art students who have been on strike to demand the end of dictatorship in Iran.
We at the Grey are heartbroken by the loss of our friend Julie Saul, an entrepreneurial Manhattan gallerist and NYU’s Institute of Fine Arts alum who championed many photographers and multimedia artists. Saul passed away on February 4, 2022, from leukemia.
